Such as yesterday afternoon, when I had this exchange with Gabe:
M - Gabe, where is your water bottle?
G - Oh, I forgot it at school.
M - Buddy, we talked about this. It's important for you to bring it home each day.
G - Mom, I am working very hard to remember the lessons Stra. MacGlaughin is teaching me. There isn't room in my brain for the things you need me to remember too.
M - Hmmmm, well I work very hard to remember to take care of you and your sister each day. Maybe there isn't room in my brain to remember to feed you breakfast tomorrow.
(LONG PAUSE)
G - I'll bring it home tomorrow, mom.
