Proverbs 22:6

I was thinking today about the awesome responsibility of raising a child... To be entrusted with this little person. To be their teacher of the spiritual truths. To care for all their physical needs. To care for all their emotional needs. To comfort, to mend, to heal, to provide, to encourage, to champion, to discipline, just to be all earthly things for them.

And in thinking about this, I'm reminded again how grateful I am for grace. Grace in the journey. Grace for my missteps along the way. Grace from my husband. Grace from my children. Grace from God.

I am so completely humbled by grace...
