Where my picture, mommy?

Lily was looking through a photo album of Gabe as a baby. She looked up at me w/ such sad, sweet eyes and said, 'where my picture, mommy? where lily picture?' Being a second child myself, I could relate to her emotions. (We, of course, have tons of pictures of Lily - including many in albums.) So in honor of second children everywhere.... some recent shots of Lillian Rachel.

This shirt was mine when I was a baby. I was 9 lb 13 oz, Lily was 6 lb 11oz. So good thing we were born during different seasons and she can manage to wear some of the winter clothes Gigi saved from my childhood.

Tim loves to 'style' Lily's hair like this. I always crack up when women ask me how I handle Lily's hair and if Tim has to help me manage it. Can you imagine if he was responsible for her grooming?!?! For the record, her hair has a very tight curl, but it's my texture.

Cheesin' at pre-school drop-off. She insists that Gabe kiss her 4 times before he gets out of the car. Very sweet!

Okay, mommies, doesn't it just take your breath away to watch your children sleeping? Especially once they get to the very active, not so cuddly stage....

Quick snack before church begins. Lily refers to any dress or skirt as 'princess' or 'tutu.'
