Toddlers and Summer

I love finding things to keep Gabey active in the summer - and I'm finding so many wonderful outlets for his massive amounts of energy.

1. Picnics in our yard - topped off with ice cream or popsicles. Gabe cracks me up because he insists on biting right into every popsicle he eats.

2. AMC Movie Camp - $1 movies every Wednesday morning at 10:00. We've never made it past 45 minutes, but it's still a fun outing.

3. Lansdowne Play Group - we meet at a different county park every Monday morning.

4. Read'N'Roar at the zoo - Every other Tuesday, Gabe goes to the zoo to hear a children's story and learn about the animal featured in the story. So, for 'How to Curl Up In a Ball' he got to learn all about wombats, etc...

5. Giggle Gang - Every other Thursday, our local mall sponsors Giggle Gang, which is a story hour and craft project for munchkins.

6. Daddy trips to the Please Touch Museum and the Zoo.

7. Sprinklers and the pool.

8. Dutch Wonderland - I grew up in Lancaster County and never went to DW. Now, I think it's the perfect place for an almost 3 year-old.

9. Pudding Painting - Totally stole this one from a TV show, but it's fabulous! Mix up a big batch of pudding, spread a ton of paper outside, strip Gabe down to his swimsuit, and let him go to town!
