We are back from a wonderful, relaxing beach vacation.  I should clarify that on our beach vacation, we spent only one day on the actual beach.  The kids were not into the sand and cold - COLD - water temps.  We spent many hours enjoying the beautiful pool at our rental.  We took strolls along the boardwalk.  We ate tons of delicious, deep-fried, not even remotely healthy food.  We went to a fabulous zoo.  We endured rainy days with 3D movies and many, many, many games of Monopoly.  We shared the time with much-loved grandparents.  All in all, a fabulous time.  Always an adjustment to come back to reality, but thankful to be home with unscheduled days of summer ahead of us.
