My little man is three years old today. I can't believe how quickly time has flown. I also can't believe that God entrusted me to care and shape this little person. What an incredible blessing.
Funny story about my three year old...
I made Gabe spider-web cookies (a-la Bakarella, but of course not nearly as perfect) for his take to school treat. The day I made them, Thursday, we told Gabe he could have one for dessert if he ate his broccoli. He refused to eat his broccoli, so no treat. Friday morning at school, his cookies were passed out, singing of birthday song ensued, children dug in...except for Gabe, who told his teachers, 'I can't eat the spider cookie b/c I didn't eat my broccoli!'
They finally convinced him it was okay to chow down. Man, kids give away all your secrets!
