Like everyone else, we enjoyed the unseasonably warm weather. Having the fenced in yard is such a blessing. It's a smallish corner lot, but plenty of space for Gabe and Lily to run and jump and play. (Tim does a fair amount of that w/ them!)
Gabe is getting better and better at t-ball. He even plays by the rules now. We drew bases on the concrete patio. He loves to hit, run and then add his score to a chalkboard we devised.
Lily is just happy to be out and about. Her sport skills are non-existent (of course - she's not yet 2!), but her snuggles are the best.
We still have some work to do w/ soccer. Gabe loves to chase the ball and kick it, but he doesn't seem to get the concept of scoring on the goal. Competitive mommy that I am, it drives me crazy that he doesn't want to shoot goals and WIN.
Tim will sometimes make Gabe play goalie. Again, Gabe thinks it's hilarious to let Daddy score - he will actually move his body around so that the ball goes directly through his legs.
Here is a video of how Lily (ahem, Tim) plays soccer.
Lily is so proud that she can sing her ABCs
