Grateful

Lily woke up on Sunday with no red marks - and medicine free. We are so grateful for all the prayers! While there is still a level of frustration over not knowing what maybe lil' mama sick, we are overwhelmingly glad that she is back to being her happy, lovable self.

We took advantage of Lily's improved health and visited a new church. After being blessed by an incredible worship experience, we headed to our favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch. Lily chowed down on rice and beans, cheese quesadillas and tortilla chips. In typical fashion, Gabe had apple juice and french fries. Then we went to Jumpers so Gabe could burn off some energy.

Home for quiet time then headed to the park in the evening to enjoy the beautiful weather - and Daddy's company before his busy week.

Lily loved the swings. She's rockin' the power 80's headband to try to stop her from pulling at her hair.

Gabe gets a kick out of taking Lily down the 'baby slide.'

But much prefers to jump down it on his own.

We lost the headband, but got some snuggles.

And as always, Gabe manages to find a little girl at the park and flirt his way into an instant hand-holding relationship. He looks pretty serious about this one!

  1. Love the headband! So, Mom, are you as concerned about Gabe's girlfriends as Dad is about Lily's boyfriends??? That picture with the little girl is too cute!
