Gabe Goes to School

Gabe began school this week. His school is about a ten minute walk from our house, or a two-minute drive in the rain. Gabe will be in school Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00-12:00. His first day concluded with the following report from his teacher: "Gabriel is exceptionally bright, but he struggles with basic listening skills." They weren't telling me anything I didn't know! I was happy to hear that the report also included what a great friend Gabe was to his classmates, and that he was an excellent singer during 'circle time' activities. Here is hoping it's the start of a wonderful year!

Here is Gabey all suited up and ready to go. He's yelling, 'Come on Mama, let's go, let's go!'

Gabe had to make at pit-stop at 'Gabey's House' to make sure it was 'okey-dokey' before we left.

Then he ran to my car yelling, 'let me in, let me in, it's school time!'

'We're at Gabey's School!!!'
