We feel so blessed to have welcomed Lillian Rachel to our family in March. Today, with family and friends, we dedicated her to God in a lovely moment at our church home, Lansdowne Baptist. We feel honored that Uncle Jeff, Tim's baby brother, was willing to be her Godfather.

For us, the dedication was an acknowledgement that God is sovereign not only over Lily, but also over Tim and me. We presented her before God and His people while asking for grace and wisdom in carrying out our responsibilities. Our prayer for Lily is that she might one day trust Jesus as her savior.

And yes, Tim has teased me mercilessly about this hair bow, but I just love it! He calls her a flapper girl while wearing it...and says it's too big for her sweet little face. Luckily - Mommy makes the fashion calls!
